By CityNews Halifax Staff

The strike at NSCAD University will come to an end at noon Tuesday.

According to a news release sent by the school's communications department, classes will resume “as soon as possible.”

Veteran labour lawyer William Kaplan has been appointed to mediate any outstanding issues in the contract dispute, which is anticipated to take place by mid-June.

“The faculty will work to make up for lost class time and complete marking assignments within the remaining semester,” said the statement.

Graduation will take place as originally scheduled on April 29.
