There is still one comfort centre open in the HRM on Thursday as most in the municipality have had power restored after Fiona.

The municipality says the Findlay Community Centre at 26 Elliot St. in Dartmouth will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The centre has food and water, and offers a place to recharge devices and receive up-to-date information.

The municipality says the location will stay open as needed, and if the demand calls for it, other locations will be set up.
