RCMP say a 54-year-old man from Lower West Pubnico is dead after a fatal highway crash in Yarmouth County.
Emergency crews were called to Highway 308 in Belleville North near Tusket at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, after a report of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers believe the car left the road and crashed into a utility pole.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have brought in a collision re-constructionist to aid in their investigation.
