Pedestrian struck by vehicle in north end of Halifax

Halifax Regional Police were on scene in the north end of the city Thursday after a vehicle pedestrian collision.

Police say it happened at roughly 11:45 a.m. in the area of Kempt Road and Young Street.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and a person was taken away by ambulance.

It's not clear the extent of their injuries at this time.
