Police hope to identify New Year’s theft suspect

Halifax Regional Police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect they believe stole electronics from a Dartmouth store.
A man entered the Shoppers Drug Mark at 118 Wyse Road on December 31st at around 1 p.m. and asked to see a tablet and a laptop.
Police say when an employee removed the electronics from behind a glass enclosure and placed them on the counter, the man grabbed the items and ran off.
They say the same man entered the store around noon on New Year's Day, walked behind the counter, took a box of Beats headphones and left the store.
