Police investigating gas station robbery in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday evening between 10pm and 11pm.

Just before 11pm, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Circle K Irving on Fairfax Drive in Halifax. A man produced a knife, threatened staff with the knife and stole a single pack of cigarettes. Suspects fled the scene on foot.

The suspects were located a short time later in the 300 block of Lacewood Drive and were arrested without incident.

An adult female was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and given a January court date and an adult male will be held in custody to attend Halifax Provincial Court on Monday facing a single charge of robbery.
