Power outages closes Duc d’Anville Elementary School Tuesday

Students at Duc d'Anville Elementary are being sent home early Tuesday due to a small power outage in Clayton Park.

Staff are contacting parents and guardians.

According to Nova Scotia Power's outage map, planned maintenance is the reason for the outage affecting 197 customers.

As of noon, the utility estimates a restoration time of 3 p.m.

Duc d'Anville Elementary is expected to reopen Wednesday.
