Halifax District RCMP have arrested a man for voyeurism in Middle Musquodoboit.

Mounties say on March 10, at approximately 1 p.m., officers responded to a report of a youth being watched while in the washroom of a local café on Hwy. 224 in Middle Musquodoboit.

After speaking with the victim and a witness, officers determined the youth had been using the facilities when they observed an individual looking at them through a vent.

That same afternoon, RCMP officers arrested an individual in relation to the voyeurism allegations.

Investigators also executed a search warrant at the business but found no video recording device or electronic surveillance located in or near the washroom.

The man, who was later released on conditions, is scheduled to appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on April 17 to face a charge of voyeurism.

The investigation is ongoing.
