A police chase through part of HRM on Tuesday night ended with the suspect getting away.

RCMP says the driver of a white Volkswagon Tiguan was involved in several incidents in the Halifax area around 8 p.m., and then entered Halifax RCMP jurisdiction.

Officers tried to stop the driver but they sped away, taking police and the suspect on a pursuit into Lower Sackville. Two police cruisers were damaged as was some property. No one was injured.

Police gave up on the pursuit as the suspect continued on the 101 toward Windsor.

The suspect still hasn't been found.

Anyone with information is being asked to get in touch with police or Crime Stoppers.
