It’s Official!

Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam emerged from her burrow to make her annual Groundhog Day prediction this morning.

According to the famed prognosticating rodent, Nova Scotia is set to see six more weeks of winter, since Sam saw its shadow.

Folklore states that if Sam sees her shadow, winter will last six more weeks and if no shadow is spotted, spring is to come early.
