UPDATE: On Sunday, Saint Mary's University announced that face-to-face courses will not continue on campus for the rest of the term.

The university had already suspended all face-to-face classes for one week starting on Monday, March 16, 2020.

All students, faculty and staff should check their email for more information.

Campus and residences remain open, but students who wish to return home are allowed to do so.

“Please be assured that the university is working quickly to ensure that students will be able to complete their academic term despite these disruptions,” reads a statement on the SMU website.

The university says it will provide further information and direction by March 20 on how courses for this term will be completed.
