Two men have been arrested after a four-hour crime spree police say involved a stolen vehicle, a hit-and-run and several armed robberies.

Enfield District RCMP were called just after 8 p.m. Thursday after getting a call about a stolen Hyundai Elantra in Shubenacadie.

Mounties say just before 10 p.m., that vehicle was seen driving erratically on Dartmouth's Portland Street, and a someone in the car waved a gun at another motorist.

They say a half-hour later, the car was involved in a hit-and-run on Albro Lake Road, and another motorist had a firearm waved in their direction.

Police were called to an armed robbery at a Windmill Road business at 11:30 p.m., they say it involved the same suspect vehicle. The employee says the suspects pointed a firearm before leaving without paying for products.

Shortly after, investigators say a gas station on Sackville Drive and another on Cobequid Road, both in Lower Sackville, were robbed of cash at gunpoint.

Officers caught up with the suspects just after midnight while one was leaving a gas station on Highway 2 in Fall River after it had been robbed.

Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Shubenacadie and a 23-year-old man from Dartmouth, both are facing multiple charges.
