A virtual rally will be held today in protest of recent actions by the board of govenors at Nova Scotia's Collage of Art and Design (NSCAD).

In the days following the dismissal, roughly 96 percent of faculty union members voted in favour of a no-confidence motion against the board.
Meantime, the Minister of Advanced Education Labi Kousoulis stated his department would only get involved in extreme situations and he has not lost confidence in nscad's board of governors.
The rally will will begin at 12 p.m. via the friends of NSCAD Facebook and Instagram accounts.
An in-person march was scheduled but it's been postponed due to the heat warning that is currently in place.
