Three men from Germany have been arrested after a flight was diverted to Halifax Stanfield International Airport Sunday.

Halifax District RCMP say the plane was on its way to Cuba from Germany when it landed around 6 p.m. because three intoxicated males were reportedly causing a disturbance.

The men aged 53, 47 and 26, face charges related to unruly or dangerous behaviour under the Aeronautics Act for Prohibition

They are all scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court Monday.
