Vaccinology centre seeking participants for clinical trials

Halifax-area participants are needed to take part in clinical trials for Canadian-made COVID-19 vaccines.
Canadian Centre for Vaccinology director Dr. Scott Halperin says trials are underway for three vaccines, and a fourth is expected to begin shortly.
He says hundreds of participants have come forward, but more are needed.
“It's what we would call an altruistic motivation,” Halperin said. “They want to participate in the science, they want to be part of something that's working toward something good and working toward a solution to the outbreak.”
