BATHURST, N.B. – Filip Zadina scored the last minute game winner as the Halifax Mooseheads topped the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in a Sunday afternoon nail-biter.

The Mooseheads got off to an impressive start, with Ben Higgins and Max Fortier each finding the back of Acadie-Bathurst's net, while Raphael Lavoie scored twice to give Halifax a 4-0 lead.

Cole Rafuse scored the Titan's first of the evening early in the second, but Connor Moynihan answered back to make it 5-1 heading into the final period.

The third period saw Olivier Galipeau scoring a pair to bring the Titan within two, with German Rubtsov and Jeffrey Truchon-Viel adding two more to tie it up at 5-5.

But Filip Zadin unloaded late in third, scoring the game winner at the 19:11 mark to give Halifax the 6-5 win.

On Thursday, the Mooseheads return home to the Scotiabank Centre to host the Charlottetown Islanders.
