Mooseheads defeat Oceanic 4-1

RIMOUSKI, QC. – The Halifax Mooseheads wrapped up their Quebec road trip with a win, defeating the Rimouski Oceanic 4-1 Sunday afternoon.

The Mooseheads had a strong showing early one with Arnaud Durandeau and Patty Kyte giving the Herd a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Rimouski's Jimmy Huntington scored early in the second period to bring the Oceanic within one. But Joel Bishop scored a short time later to restore Halifax's two goal lead. 

Ben Higgins extended the Herd's lead to 4-1 in the third period to seal the deal.

On Friday, the Mooseheads return to the Scotiabank Centre to welcome the Saint John Sea Dogs.
