Convenience Store robbed Saturday night on Highfield Park Drive

The call to Halifax Police came in before midnight Sunday; two suspects ordered patrons and staff to lie on the floor of the business.

Regional Police are investigating a robbery in Dartmouth that occurred late Saturday night.

A call came in from the Needs Convenience Store on Highfield Park Drive; two men entered the store; demanding cigarettes and cash.

One male was in possession of a firearm while the other had a knife.

No customers or workers were injured.

Suspect one is described as a male, heavy set, wearing gloves, a balaclava over his head and a dark jacket. The second suspect is described as a male, skinny build, wearing gloves, a balaclava over his head, white or light grey coloured pants.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police.
