Purcells Cove Road is now re-opened to traffic; the investigation into the collision is ongoing.
Original release
Police are on scene of motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist in the 1200 block of Purcell's Cove Road in Halifax. A male cyclist was taken to hospital by EHS with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
Purcell's Cove Road is currently closed to all traffic between Ramsgate Lane and Anchor Drive.
Please use alternate routes to avoid delays.
