Four charged with drug trafficking after Dartmouth searches

Halifax Regional Police say they seized cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia during two early morning searches in Dartmouth Friday.

They were conducted at around 1 a.m. at homes on Princess Margaret Boulevard and Renfrew Street.

Police say they also found a handgun and ammunition during one of the searches.

Four people were arrested, a man and woman at each location.

Renee Ashley Faye Strowbridge, 26, of Dartmouth and Douglas Darrell, 62, of Dartmouth have been charged with the following:

  • Unsafe storage of a firearm 
  • Careless use of a firearm 
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose 
  • Possession of a firearm without a license 
  • Possession of a firearm knowing its unauthorized 
  • Possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon 
  • Possession of a weapon obtained by a criminal offence
  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking 
  • Production of a substance (cocaine) 
  • Possession of press for use in the production/trafficking of cocaine 

Dylan Reid-Collicut and Carly Seaboyer, both 28-year-old Dartmouth residents, face charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
