HRP issue 151 tickets for vehicle-related offences this week

The tickets were handed out between Monday and Thursday.

Halifax Regional Police issued 151 tickets for speeding offences and other vehicle-related violations this week. 
Between Monday to Thursday, officers of the HRP traffic unit issued 35 tickets for speeding, 32 for no insurance, 20 for cellphone use while driving, and 64 other offences such as operating an unregistered vehicle, failing to obey traffic signs and driving with a revoked licence. 
HRP said in a news release that “we all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.”
