A 19 year old Nova Scotia male is following impaired driving charges following a collision with a parked car early Saturday morning.
Halifax Police say shortly before 2 a.m., they received a call of a two car collision on Connolly Street in Halifax.
Officers say the vehicle driven by a 19 year old male had briefly caught fire, and both cars sustained extensive damage.
A Nova Scotia power pole and tree also received damage.
The 19 year old, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle was treated and released by EHS, before being arrested for impaired driving.
He remains in custody and an investigation is ongoing.
