Man charged in ongoing drug trafficking investigation

Police say cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, hydromorphone and clonazepam were seized during a search

A man is facing charges in an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. 

Halifax Regional Police say the Guns and Gangs Unit seized cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, hydromorphone, clonazepam and cash from an address in the south end of Agricola Street Friday.

A 29-year-old man will appear in court at a later date to face four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with possession for the purpose of distributing of cannabis, possession for the purpose of selling cannabis and possession of property obtained by crime.

Anyone with information on illegal drug activity is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
