A 28-year-old man is facing a hefty fine after being charged with stunting Monday afternoon.

Halifax Regional Police say he was going 156 km/h in a 100 km/h zone of Highway 102 in the Bedford area at around 1:15 p.m.

The fine for stunting is $2,422.50 and six points are assigned to the driver's record.

In addition, the man's licence was suspended for a week and the vehicle he was driving has impounded.
