Man dead after motorcycle crash in Mount Uniacke

Police say the driver was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the hospital

A man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle in Mount Uniacke this week. 

The RCMP said the incident happened on Tuesday night around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 1. 

The 45-year-old driver was thrown from the motorcycle. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital where he died not long after arriving. 

Police did not say if any other vehicles were involved in the crash. 

The investigation is ongoing.
