The man who suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit while trying to cross a Halifax street has died.
On March 16, a driver hit the 75-year-old man at the corner of Young Street and Kempt Road.
The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. when the man was trying to cross Young Street but was hit by a pickup truck.
The driver was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
"Investigators with Patrol, Accident Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section are continuing to conduct the investigation," says a news release.
