Man injured after stabbing in Dartmouth

Police are on scene at Boland Road and Cairn Street in Dartmouth regarding a weapons complaint.
At 6:55 p.m., police received a call to report a person was injured by another man with an edged weapon.
A number of police officers are on scene completing the investigation. There is no threat to public safety. We ask members of the public to use alternate routes and avoid the area of Boland Road and Cairn Street in both directions to allow officers to conduct the search and investigation.
A man was located on scene and determined to be the victim. He has been transported by EHS to the hospital with what are undetermined injuries at this point in time.
