Man missing from Lake Echo found dead (update)

Police have found the body of the 52-year-old man after a Saturday afternoon search

The body of the 52-year-old man who went missing from Lake Echo was found Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday afternoon, a search was conducted in a wooded area in Mineville and human remains were found.

"The death is not believed to be suspicious in nature, however, the investigation is ongoing," an RCMP news release says.

The man was last seen on March 11 at 4 p.m. His truck was located on Mineville Road at an entrance to a trail in Mineville.
