Man suffers ‘serious’ gunshot wound in Dartmouth

A man suffered a “serious” gunshot wound in Dartmouth on Sunday night according to Halifax Regional Police.

At 11:19 p.m. on Nov. 21, police received a report of the incident which occurred in the 100 block of Roleika Drive near Westphal.

“Officers responded to the area and found a man, who had been shot, suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries outside of a residence,” an HRP news release says. “EHS transported the man to the QEII Health Sciences Centre.”

HRP says there is currently no information on the suspect.

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5020.
