Pedestrian dies after being hit by pickup truck in Kentville

A woman is dead after being hit by a pickup truck in Kentville Tuesday morning.
The Kentville Police Service believe she was walking her dog in a marked crosswalk at the corner of Belcher Street and Oakdene Avenue when she was struck at around 7:30 a.m.
The woman died a the scene.
Police say they are still investigating.
