Police investigate robbery in Halifax's north end

Police are searching for two suspects after staff at Jenny's Place reported a robbery

Halifax Regional Police are searching for two suspects after an alleged robbery in the north end on Monday night. 

According to police, two men wearing masks walked into Jenny's Place bar and grill on Lady Hammond Rd. around 11:30 p.m. Monday. 

Witnesses told officers one of the men threatened that he had a weapon. They demanded cash and made off on foot with the money. 

No one was injured and no weapon was seen, police say. 

Both men are described as 30 to 40 years old, wearing black hoodies. One man had a slim build, the other a medium build. Police add that one of the men wore a red mask while the other had a black one. 

Anyone with information is asked to call police, or reach out to Crime Stoppers.
