Halifax Regional Police are investigating a suspicious incident at Mic Mac Mall over the weekend.

Mall security officers were told a man appeared to be taking photos of women without their knowledge and trying to touch them in a sexual manner at around 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

When security approached the man, he quickly left the mall and was seen driving off in a red Hyundai Elantra. The hatchback was a newer model and didn't have a licence plate.

The man is described as white, in his 20s, around 5'8" with a thin build and dark hair in a ponytail.

He had been wearing a black shirt with writing on the front, black pants and a green baseball cap.

Anyone with information, including those who reported the incident to mall security or anyone who was approached by the man, is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
