Police look for suspect in sexual assault last month

Halifax Regional Police are looking for the suspect in a sexual assault that happened in Dartmouth last month.

They say a man touched a woman in a sexual manner at around 12:20 p.m. on Friday, September 2 near Ferry Terminal Park.

He was seen leaving the area on foot.

The suspect is described as white, in his 30s. around 5'10″ and 220 pounds with dark brown hair and a goatee.

He had been wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, a baseball cap, sunglasses and sneakers.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
