RCMP investigate homicide after finding body inside vehicle

RCMP are investigating a homicide after finding a man's body inside a vehicle.

At around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Mounties were told of suspicious vehicle on Highway 7 in East Preston.

“At this time, we believe the incident was targeted in nature and there is no risk to the public,” police said in a news release.

Anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the victim is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
