RCMP look for man last seen in Elmsdale area

Cole Harbour RCMP are concerned for the well-being of a man who has been reported missing.

Juan Felix Sanchez contacted his family Monday evening and told them he left his car on Highway 102 in the Elmsdale area near distance marker 42.

His family found the vehicle and say it was in good working order.

A witness saw Sanchez hitchhiking in the Elmsdale area at around 10 p.m., and his direction of travel is not known.

Mounties plan to search the area Tuesday.

The 42-year-old is described as Black/Hispanic with light-brown skin. He's 5'10″ and 180 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and he wears glasses.

When last seen, he was wearing green camouflage pants, a white, short-sleeve shirt with a collar, a green bomber jacket with fur trim around the hood and white athletic shoes.
