Six arrested after drugs seized during police search

RCMP have arrested six people in a drug trafficking investigation.

Mounties say cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and cash were seized during the search of a home on Hammond Plains Rd. in Hammonds Plains early Thursday morning.

The accused face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine. 

A 42-year-old man from Yarmouth, a 31-year-old man from Dartmouth, a 31-year-old man from Hammonds Plains, a 54-year-old from Hammonds Plains, a 27-year-old woman from Bear River and a 21-year-old woman from Halifax are scheduled to appear in court on March 8 at 9:30 a.m.
