Three arrested after break-in at Timberlea convenience store

Two men and a woman have been arrested after a break-in at a Timberlea convenience store.

RCMP were called to the St. Margarets Bay Rd. business at 4:45 a.m. Thursday.

Officers soon learned the suspects left the scene in a Dodge Ram.

Halifax Regional Police spotted a suspect vehicle and arrested its three occupants. 

Everette Allan Branscombe, 45, of Halifax, has been charged with:

  • Breaking and Entering with Intent;
  • Breaking and Entering and Committing Offence (two counts);
  • Possession of Break-in Instrument;
  • Failure to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order

Christian Gordon Bennett, 36, of Halifax, has been charged with:

  • Breaking and Entering with Intent;
  • Breaking and Entering and Committing Offence (two counts);
  • Failure to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order (two counts);
  • Possession of Break-in Instrument;
  • Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose

Both men also face additional charges in other recent break-ins.

A 34-year-old Halifax woman has been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
