Victim seriously injured in downtown stabbing

Halifax Regional Police say a victim was seriously injured in a stabbing in downtown Halifax Friday night.

Officers were called to Salter Street just before 9 p.m. where they found a single victim.

They were rushed to hospital.

The investigation is still in its early stages.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5016 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
