Halifax Regional Police have handed out a $2,422 ticket to a woman under the Health Protection Act.
Police say she refused to show proof of her vaccination status at an outdoor skating park Thursday just before 4 p.m.
"HRP is reminding everyone to follow the current public health measures related to the COVID-19 emergency," police said in a news release.
"We strongly advise members of the public to continue to educate themselves on these public health directives and COVID-19 enforcement measures."
