Charlottetown defeats Mooseheads 3-2 in OT

The Charlottetown Islanders defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night.

Brett Budgell put the Islanders on the board first but Jordan Dumais answered back for the Mooseheads to tie it up at 1-1 after 20 minutes.

Thomas Casey restored Charlottetown's lead in the second period.

Bobby Orr tied things up for the Mooseheads late in the third period, forcing overtime where Noah Laaouan scored the game winner for the Islanders.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday when they welcome the Charlottetown once again.
