Dumais picks up hat trick as Mooseheads shut out Sea Dogs 7-0

The Halifax Mooseheads picked up a 7-0 shut out win over the Saint John Sea Dogs on Sunday.

Cam Whynot opened up the scoring, giving Halifax an early 1-0 lead in the first period.

Stéphane Huard Jr, Jordan Dumais and Mathieu Cataford added to Halifax's lead in the second period to put the Herd up 4-0.

Dumais extended their lead with his second of the evening early in the third period.

Brody Fournier followed up to make it 6-0 Mooseheads.

Dumais completed the hat-trick in the final minute to make it a 7-0 final in Halifax's favour.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Tuesday when they welcome the Moncton Wildcats.
