Eagles edge out Mooseheads 4-3

The Cape Breton Eagles edged out the Halifax Mooseheads 4-3 on Sunday.

Dawson Stairs put Cape Breton on the board early while Trey Sturge added to their lead later in the period.

Robert Orr eventually answered back for the Herd but Emile Hegarty-Aubin responded to keep Cape Breton's two goal lead.

Zach Jones borught the Moose back within one and Orr tied things up at 3-3.

Nathan Larose helped Cape Breton retake the lead which ended up being the game winner for the Eagles.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Sydney on Tuesday to take on the Eagles once again.
