Islanders come back to beat Mooseheads 6-4

The Charlottetown Islanders mounted a six goal comeback to defeat the Halifax Mooseheads 6-4 on Sunday.

Markus Vidicek put the Herd on the board late in the opening period.

Senna Peeters, Elliot Desnoyers and Cam Whynot added to Halifax's lead to make it 4-0.

Patrick Guay and Brendan McCarthy finally put the Islanders on the board near the end of the second period.

Cédric Desruisseaux and Drew Elliott tied things up for Charlottetown early in the third period.

Desruisseaux and Brett Budgell added a pair to complete the six goal comeback for the Islanders.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Saturday when they welcome the Cape Breton Eagles.
