Mooseheads come back to defeat Islanders 4-2

The Halifax Mooseheads are back in the win column after picking up a 4-2 win over the Charlottetown Islanders.

Charlottetown struck first as Peter Repcik put the Islanders up 1-0 late in the first period.

Alexandre Doucet tied things up for the Herd late in the second period.

Alexis Michaud put the Isles back up by one before the end of the period to make it 2-1 Charlottetown heading into the third.

Doucet tied things up again with his second goal of the evening.

Markus Vidicek gave Halifax their first lead of the game late in the final period with Doucet completing the hat-trick on an empty net shortly after as the Mooseheads won it 4-2.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Sunday when they welcome the Rimouski Oceanic.
