The Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 4-1 on Thursday evening.
Jordan Dumais opened up the scoring near the midway point of the first period to give Halifax a 1-0 lead.
After a scoreless second period, Alexandre Doucet picked up his 49th goal of the regular season to give Halifax a 2-0 lead.
Markus Vidicek and David Moravec made it 4-0 Halifax but Ty Higgins answered back to prevent the shut out.
The Mooseheads will take on the Titan for a third time in less than a week on Friday.
