Mooseheads defeat Wildcats 3-2

The Halifax Mooseheads came out on top on Thursday night, defeating the Moncton Wildcats 3-2.

After a scoreless first period, Markus Vidicek put Halifax on the board but Francis Langlois tied it back up a short time after.

Elliot Desnoyers later gave the Herd a 2-1 lead heading into the third period.

Moncton's Maxim Barbashev responded in the third period to make it 2-2.

Jordan Dumais eventually scored the game winner, securing the 3-2 win for the Herd.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Friday when they welcome the Gatineau Olympiques.
