When Hockey Canada opens up selection camp for its World Junior Championship team this month, the Halifax Mooseheads will be represented.

Centre and team captain Elliot Desnoyers is one of 35 players to get the nod to join the selection camp in Calgary.

Desnoyers is a Philadelphia Flyers draft pick and the Mooseheads' top scorer so far this season with 34 points in 20 games.

Teammate Zach L'Heureux was part of Team Canada's summer camp but was not invited this time.

The World Juniors will open on Boxing Day.
