The Halifax Mooseheads picked up another win at home, defeating the Sherbrooke Phoenix 6-2 on Saturday.

Attilio Biasca and Alexandre Doucet put the Herd up 2-0 in the first period.

Jordan Dumais added to Halifax's lead near the midway point of the second period to make it 3-0.

Dumais netted his second of the evening early in the third period.

Andrew Belchamber finally put Sherbrooke on the board but Josh Lawrence quickly answered back to restore the Herd's four goal lead.

Jacob Melanson scored another for the Phoenix but an empty netter from Josh Lawrence sealed the deal for the Herd.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Sunday when they welcome the Moncton Wildcats.
