The Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Cape Breton Eagles 5-4 on Sunday.
Evan Boucher opened up the scoring late in the first period.
Jacob Newcombe tied things up but Zachary L'Heureux quickly restored Halifax's lead.
Trevor Thurston tied things up in the second period but Alexandre Doucet put the Herd up by one shortly after.
Josh Lawrence gave Halifax a 4-2 lead heading into the third period.
Cam Squires and Angelo Fullerton tied things up for Cape Breton.
But Jordan Dumais netted the game winner, giving Halifax the 5-4 win.
The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday when they welcome the Quebec Remparts.
