Mooseheads end Quebec road trip with 4-1 loss to Gatineau

The Gatineau Olympiques handed the Halifax Mooseheads a 4-1 loss on the Herd's last game of their Quebec road trip on Sunday.

Jake Furlong put the Herd on the board in the opening frame but Samuel Savoie answered back to keep it tied at 1-1 after 20 minutes.

Antonin Verreault and Tristan Luneau put Gatineau up 3-1 in the second period.

Savoie netted his second of the evening early in the final period to make it a 4-1 final.

The Mooseheads are back home at the Scotiabank Centre on Friday when they welcome the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
